No but seriously, OP's "secret" wasn't exactly shocking or offensive. It should be pretty obvious that anyone going "OMG that's terrible, how can you live with yourself?" in response to a confession of something utterly mundane is joking. The only reason it isn't is because there are so many people in fandom now that get OTT outraged over ridiculous shit.

Seeing as it matched all the other "that's so messed up" replies and you didn't even bother with a snarky icon, I have no idea how anyone was supposed to figure that out, especially since Kim Jung-il is a touchy subject.

I don't have a snarky icon. I have some happy/smiling ones, and I guess the mismatch between icon-tone and comment-tone could convey sarcasm, but I don't think it would really be that effective.

And the point of deadpan is to not give way that you're joking; the ridiculousness of the statement, along with the perfectly serious delivery, is the main point of the humor.
