Huh, it was more like a general wondering for me, since the OP didn't seem sure of the novels themselves so she must know either the anime or manga, right? S-so, how would she know if those novel-only characters are OOC?

Yeah maybe I'm just reading it wrong though, but, that boggled me so hard.

And, if they ARE playing characters in the novel way instead of in the way the OP knows them... well, the characters are most original in their novel form (well, this IS debatable, but it's what they were based on so yes), how would they be ooc?

But yeah, I'm not one of the players, so I wouldn't really know what canon they use. TB is hard to write for, yo.

You're probably getting piled on because of the tone of your comment "so lol" is kinda jarring. The complaint was that it seems these people are RPing based on second hand info and based on what the OP knows about the canon, they are OOC.

The TB novels are very difficult to get and most of them are not in English yet. I guess it's like RPing from an anime you've only read reviews about.

Well, if they RPed from the anime or manga, I could understand, and there are (decent to good) translations of the novels out.

Not many, and they're hard to get (I've tried) anyway, if I had people RPing from difficult to find novels in the same RP as me, I'd want to know if they have access to their canon.

We're actually... not THAT many. o.O I have read the novels and Canon and I play THREE characters. Herit plays three characters. Kaga plays THREE characters too.
