12. You do realise that TTGL was meant to be a huge parody right? It was like taking every aspect of animes from the past and melding them into one big 26 episode series. In addition, the reason people loved Kamina for saying it so much was because he was a fantastic character, someone who was bold and outgoing and a great leader.
Eureka was a bitch.
Now tell me. Which character are people going to like more you think? :)
No one thinks it's brand new, don't generalise fans like that. Also get over yourself, your series is pretty shit.

Says you (and granted, most of fandom, but whatever). Personally I'm not sure how "yells at everyone and rants about his own manliness all the time" translates to "fantastic character." I thought he was a blustering jerk whose sole redeeming value was his love for Simon.

Kamina was fun. Yeah, he was loud and dumb sometimes, but he did everything with gusto and never half-assed, so I forgive him for being a complete dork. He was passionate and that's why he left such a huge impression with people. His passion burned on long after his passing and that is a pretty awesome trait if you ask me.

I agree. Kamina is pretty much my least favorite character and I never understood what was so great about him.

Agreed but... How was Eureka a bitch? Either you didn't watch the series or you don't know the meaning of the word. I can see calling Talho or Anemone bitches but... Eureka? She's way too meek and soft-spoken. If anything, she's a wuss.

Opinions are opinions. I agree that Eureka sucks as a character and the series actually makes me really angry. But hey, I love it anyway, because of Renton and Holland. It's also my opinion that Kamina bored me as a character (and hell, the series in general. Wasn't even interested enough to get through even the first episode). They make the world go 'round 'cuz it's full of them.
You're the one throwing your opinionated weight around so boldly (or cowardly, being as you have commented anonymously), so honestly your the one who needs to get over themselves.

Not to agree or disagree with the whole E7 thing, but... uh. You should really watch more than the first episode because the series really, really change at parts XD

I was all "mehhh" through the first five or so, "hey this is good" up until 11, "this is pretty damn awesome" up until 15, "this fucking kicks ass" up until 23, and then "holy shit this is amaaaaaaazing" until the end.

It's really not fair to just judge GL on the first episode XD;
