Yeah, I get that. I'm definitely not a huge fan of physical hurt-- though I do like the comfort if it involves cuddles. Do you just not like big h/c scenes, like a character gets shot and another character cares for them? Or, does little stuff like one character having a bad day and another character making them dinner bother you too?

If it's the focus, it bothers me. I don't like that dynamic. I'm trying to think harder about why. It feels like it doesn't belong, somehow, and it still seems manipulative, whether it's physical or emotional pain that's being comforted.
