I'd like to see someone take care of Nathan Jackson for a time as well! ...but I can see why there isn't a lot of h/c with him being hurt. He's the only one in the group who CAN save someone else from serious harm--if HE was badly hurt I feel like it would very quickly become a death fic :P

There is that. But he doesn't have to be badly badly hurt. I mean, there's all sorts of emotional h/c knocking around this fandom, mostly towards Ezra, Vin, Chris and JD, couldn't we point some of that Nate's way? Or physical hurt like the rescue from the lynch mob in the pilot or a wrenched arm or hell even some cuts and bruises where somebody else helps him mop himself up and clean out the worst of it? I'd be quite happy with an exhausted and cross-eyed Nathan sitting in his clinic trying to pull grit out of a scraped-up arm and Ezra/Josiah/Buck/Rain just coming over and propping him against them to nap while they finish the job and wrap it up for him and maybe tease him gently a bit for falling asleep in the middle of it.

I'm easy, really. Any flavour of battered/exhausted/emotional Nate and somebody looking after him will do me.

I bet it would be Josiah and now I want this fic too. Siah would do it very gingerly because when he stitches HIMSELF up he doesn't give a shit, but Nate doesn't have as thick a hide so he's got to do it as careful as he's never done it before.
