I'd prefer it if it hadn't happened because of the real life implications (as well as the fact that the subplot went nowhere really, and Margot lost even more agency after what Mason did to her), but the way it happened in context didn't really bother me. I just found it incredibly sad. Two sad, lonely people using each other.

I was more bothered by Fuller's reaction to the criticism, to be honest.

ohhh yeah fuller's reaction made me facepalm

creator should just... not respond to criticism. unless you can do it tactfully and well, don't go there.

That's ridiculous. A creator has every right to respond to criticism about their creation - tactfully or otherwise.
