okokok, I will admit to shipping Phantom/Christine (and also Phantom/Time-Traveling Self-Insert) when I was 12. But yeah, it's a terrible ship and I was pretty drenched in denial when it was my thing.

My problem with the ship is mostly the people who see it as being ~so romantic~ and bashed the hell out of (the admittedly boring) Raoul and turned him into a rapist/drunk/lunatic. Until that was canon, I guess.
