Re: Most hated ships
(Anonymous) 2014-08-02 05:22 am (UTC)(link)Yeah, that game was full of shitty writing for Anders (and, by extension, Justice. Poor Justice :( ) but that scene really took the cake. You do at least lose relationship points with the other characters and they call you out for being an asshole if you send Fenris back into slavery but you GAIN them if Anders is your party. In contrast, if you end up killing Anders later in the game Fenris does at least seem solemn about it. I mean, he doesn't exactly fall to his knees with grief or anything but he's not outright gleeful about it like Anders was. It was things like that where you could really see how shittily Anders was written in comparison to some of the other characters. I'm usually all for rival shipping, but Fenris/Anders just always left a bad taste in my mouth.
