BAD ADAPTATION 2: NO, MAH VIDYA!
Some video games try to tell a story that's worthy of a movie... Hell, some of them would make great movies!
Wing Commander was a great space drama about starfighters in a war earth isn't exactly winning. People love, people die. Anthropormorphic cats menace the world. Seems legit, right? Hell, this game series has Mark fucking Hamil in it! HOW CAN YOU MESS UP A SCIFI WITH MARK HAMILL!
Easy! BY NOT PUTTING HIM IN THE MOVIE AND REPLACING HIM WITH FREDDIE. MOTHERFUCKING. PRINCE. JR! BUT ADDING IN SOME VAGUE JEDI-LIKE BULLSHIT THAT ACTUALLY WASN'T IN THE GAME AT ALL AND MAKING THE ALIENS LOOK LIKE SHIT!

Then... Did you know Far Cry was made into a movie? I mean, fuck yeah, Far Cry! I like Far Cry. Turns out Germans loved it enough to make it a film! Well, a german did. Bought it up for movie rights before the game was even released, but hey, if you love something it'll be good right? Oh wait IT'S UWE BOLL, DESTROYER OF VIDEO GAMES. A GERMAN DIRECTOR SHOOTING IN ENGLISH WITH A GERMAN CAST. WONDER WHAT WE ARE GOING TO GET!
