I figured he wrote all three of them. The bandages over where a sixth finger could have been, the 'he hasn't been the same in thirty years' comment, how his first name is Fiddleford and the laptop says 'property of F'. It IS rather obvious, though, maybe too obvious. Maybe he's a Co-author?

When Stan was fiddling with the portal thing, one of the machines said something about the search being negative and moving on to the next scan.

I somehow totally missed both that AND that McGuckett's first name is Fiddleford. I bet you're totally right. :D
