The ending was kinda sad though, maybe because of how ambiguous it was. Such a good book, though.

Have you read A Thousand Splendid Suns? I actually liked it a little better, and the ending was more unambiguously happy, even though the story itself was still pretty sad.

No, I think I'll tackle that next, though! I really enjoyed his writing style and the insight into Afghan culture. I'm really interested in seeing things from a girl's point of view, so it should be fun. Especially if it has a happier ending.
