Re: What's something "problematic" that you love?
(Anonymous) 2014-08-04 12:51 am (UTC)(link)I love them, they turn me on, in fanfic and in real life. The love of my life is a 6'4" alpha male that throws boxes around the way I wish he threw me around. Only, he's also the most gentle man I've ever met so he'd never, ever think of throwing me around (dammit). The idea that he's labeled as 'problematic' just makes me want to choke a bitch so much my fingers start to curl.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-04 12:59 am (UTC)(link)That made me laugh. Good Lord. :)
Re: What's something "problematic" that you love?
I can see how people would (wrongly) say he's problematic if he isn't doing anything that's problematic, and it must be annoying that they do that.
I have to wonder though what proportion of people are just like "ew 'alpha' guy" (and I'm curious as to exactly what you mean by this, btw) versus the ones who are mostly annoyed at redpillers and their ilk claiming that "alpha" dudes are superior to other guys and being really sexist while they're at it. (Honest curiosity, here.)
I can't be completely unbiased because "alpha" guys turn me right the hell off and I don't want anything to do with them tbh. But I don't know if your husband/boyfriend/??SO is really what I would call an "alpha" dude, either (hence wondering what you mean by the term).
