Weirds places you've been?

Doesn't have to be famous, btw.

New Jersey. :|

But really, Ruby Falls in TN was pretty cool. It is a huge underground waterfall. In the same place is Rock City, which has these weird underground fairytale viewing caves.

I'm not sure all of these counts, depends on how you define weird I guess:

- The Picasso sculpture in Kristinehamn, Sweden
- Vegetable farm in the middle of nowhere, Netherlands
- Alligator Zoo in Gambia, where they didn't put a fence between humans and the alligators (or crocodiles, never know which one is which, they were huge and dangerous with a lot of teeth).
- I walked in a pedestrian tunnel under the river Thames, London
- I also spent a night outside a random church somewhere in Scotland
- I spent the day on a beach on a cloudy day in a small town in Britain that I don't remember the name of and we bought snacks at Spar which is also a Norwegian grocery store chain so we felt a bit at home.
- Ohh and I've been to the worlds largest Kickers (which wiki is telling me is the translation of Spark., in Tynset, Norway
- Also the biggest Snowmobile in Gäddede, Sweden.

I can't think of more right now as it is getting hella late and I should be sleeping.

When I was in Croatia with my family, we took a day trip out to some little island. To get from the boat we were in to the island we had to walk aboard another boat that was already docked. That boat just happened to be a nudist boat, so it was full of naked people eating their lunch.* Soo that was quite weird! (The island itself was nice enough, though the memory of that boat overshadows the rest of that day)

*I feel like I should add that I have no issues with people being naked, but it was strange to just have it tossed in my face like that!

One time, I stopped at a gas station in this tiny town. The town itself was unremarkable, just really two streets that met at a crossroads. But the gas station I went into had to taxidermy deer heads mounted on every single wall (many deer heads per wall) and the bathroom had a saloon style door that opened straight into a meat section. When I got to the counter, the cashier actually said, "Y'all ain't from around here." Her tone was friendly but it was hilarious.

I've totally been to Rock City. This was years and years before I read (or had even heard of) American Gods, so the entire book was the epicenter of hilarity for me.

When I was in England, I didn't go to see Stonehenge, but when I was in America, I did go to see Carhenge (in Alliance, Nebraska). It was only a slight diversion on my way home from a road trip.

Did you know there are elephant seals off PCH a little south of Hearst Castle?! They are huge and make weird gronking noises!
