Heh, I don't even get that. I just get "Hey, we need this, and we need it done by two days from now."

And frequently it's something I can pound out in under an hour, but there are the occasions when they've given me a list of stuff that this new page/feature needs to be able to do, and not only is it not happening in two days, some of the items contradict each other or depend on the machine AUTOMAGICALLY knowing stuff about the person viewing the page regardless of whether or not they're logged in and so on, so it's just not happening at all. :P

When I get the "And could you maybe..." type requests, it's usually coming from one very nice person, in the context of "This part of the page is important, so could you make this text really large, bright yellow, and maybe have it blinking?"

Which is where I'm thinking to myself "Okay, technically I *could*, but *will* I? #$%& NO."
