Re: How many fandoms can someone actually have?

I've written at least one fanfic for 54 fandoms, and 11 of those have more than ten. However, I usually have only one 'main' fandom at a time, the one that takes up most of my attention (there have been about five of these in the past seven years), and while I'm in that I usually just write one or two fics at a time for other fandoms that catch my eye. I will, however, have three or four main fandoms that I'm reading in at the same time as the main one I'm writing in, and I'll go through phases of seeking out fanfic for a few dozen others on and off.

So at any one time, I'll have one main fandom that I'm writing it, three or four that I'm actively reading and commenting and discussing in, and about a dozen more that I'm reading/writing in on and off.

Whenever I do prompts, though, I'll write for any of the 54, plus any other fandoms that people have seen me talking about even if I haven't necessarily written for them before.
