So I'm assuming from the last line that there's literally no way to dissuade you from this view and you're fundamentally uninterested in talking about it?

No, mostly for the 'gaslighting' part of it (in combination with the absolutism of the first part of what they're saying, but mostly the gaslighting part)

If they say that's what their experience was with feminists, I believe them & it sucks. But it annoys me that someone would preemptively cut off any debate.
