Re: Kinks/venting thread.
Venting: Why are there not more D/s fics without humiliation but with a huge focus on praise?
I wish there was more puppy play and age play out there.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-06 12:01 am (UTC)(link)If you're not picky about fandom, go hunting in Yu-gi-Oh for Kaiba/Jounouchi fics. Their ship was nicknamed Puppyshipping based a scene in ep 11 ( and Joey winds up donning a dog costume and hainvg to be Otogi's (aka Duke) slave late rin the series.
fun times.

Re: Kinks/venting thread.
(Anonymous) 2014-08-06 12:13 am (UTC)(link)A slightly weird version of this, but I discovered I have an odd attachment to people using possessive adjectives (my/mine) + ranks/titles (lord/queen/commander/partner/enemy/pupil/etc) and putting a subtle emphasis on the 'my' part to signify a deeper relationship. It mostly shows up with things like bodyguard romances and in fantasy/sci-fi/historical pieces, with a strong thread in chivalric-style romances, but I do love it. For the element of a secret relationship obliquely admitted to purely by emphasis, for the way it signifies willingness in a potentially vastly unequal relationship, for the way it makes a title, something that defines usually very broad relationships between a person and a large body, into something much more intimate. My Lord, my Queen. Partner mine, commander mine. It has a willing, possessive, slightly secretive tone, and apparently I like that?
Weirdly specific, this one, I know.
