It's confusing to me that so many women apparently have mostly male friends because whenever I try to make dude friends they end up wanting to be romantically involved, especially when they find out I have "nerdy" and "masculine" interests. As a lesbian who just wants a male friend for once, I can't help but find this rather irritating.

Yeah, this too. That, or I stop wanting to have anything to do with them once they make it clear that they just wanna bone me. It sucks.
