MapleStory secret? CC plz!

I kinda understand you, anon, but if I have to choose I would stuck with Maplestory now (from someone that had played it from 2004-5?)

I never played this, but why is it a terrible thing to be nostalgic? I feel like everyone's nostalgic for something in fandom, lol.

Now if all you ever talk about is how much you hate ~insert thing here~ now, yea, most people aren't overtly fond of that, but you're allowed your opinion.

have you tried playing mapleroyals? it's a private server with a ton of active users and it emulates the good old days of ms (:

Aww, for a second I got hopeful, but then I checked it out... Gachapon, evolving pets... This isn't the "good old days". The good old days were way before that, before the game became pay-to-win and NX cash (or WZ cash before that) was only used to buy cosmetic items like outfits and hairstyles.

If someone would make a server like that, I'd play on that. This, this is still post-ruined MS for me, sadly.

ME TOO OP, ME TOO! :'(

I spent years, literally, playing this. I mean, when I started, it was still WZ cash, not NX cash, (and one could only buy clothes with it, no double exp or double drops or even pets or anything) and there were only the four original jobs. Sometimes when I aimlessly open a new web browser tab my fingers will still automatically type basilmarket since I used to check that several times a day. MapleStory WAS my life, lol.

I tried playing again half a year ago, but found the game un-playable now. In my days, getting to third job (before they even had fourth job) actually took some time and effort, and that's what made it enjoyable. Now, with the new exp gain and reaching third job over one weekend... It's just not the same. :(

Yes, yes, TL;DR, "cool story bro" and all of that. But I really loved MS, and haven't found any other game since that could hold my attention the way MS did.
