I was always a Spock/McCoy girl myself. We do exist!

I can totally see it. They have a very passionate relationship, no matter what Spock says. For me, I guess, the reason I have a bit of trouble with it is that sometimes they can go a bit too far and hurt the other (without meaning to though). Which is one of the reasons I lean more towards Spirk. But I completely get why people like Spock/McCoy so much. It's just not for me.

Seconding the love for Spock/McCoy. It will always be my favorite TOS ship.

Me too! I ship it like crazy.
pantswarrior: Spock and Bones have all kinds of UST at each other. (spock/mccoy)

We certainly do! I have a hard time shipping Kirk, Spock, or McCoy in anything other than Kirk/Spock/McCoy (my first OT3!), but if I had to pick a side to the triangle, it would be Spock/McCoy hands down. :D

YES SPONES

I always prefer the snarky relationships with a lot of back-and-forth over the longing looks and profound bonds of "perfect for each other" pairings. I love K/S, but I almost felt like it was too...easy? It's why I ship heroes and villains with each other all the time, I think.

Aw yes, spones. All the manhandling/touching, intense eye-staring, and snark. Plus 90% of the time they were pretty much attached at the hip following Kirk around.

I'm right there with you! I always thought of it as like a Harrh/Hermione/Ron situation - Kirk was off doing his own thing and Spock is his best friend who is in love with Kirk's slightly less best friend, McCoy.

I love both - Spones & Spirk. It is possible.

I've never understood Kirk/McCoy though, especially in TOS. They just never seemed more than friends to me.
