This is also me, tho' I don't resell stuff because I tend to use it until it's unusable, then I get rid of/replace it. So.

*adds things to cart [both physical and virtual]* I keep it in the cart for half an hour. Then when it is time to checkout I go, "I don't REALLY need this." And I put it back.

Unless I am buying gifts. I have an easier time just buying gift for people. Just spent $40 buying birthday gifts for my sis while I debated with myself for half a day over whether or not to buy a Funko Pop doll ($10).

I lose track and overspend and then have a month or two where I have to be really frugal.

I'm usually pretty frugal, but I get impulsive when I'm with friends.

They are strongly contained by my lack of cash. I've never been in debt yet and I take some pride in that. That being said, when I DO have money, I rarely deprive myself of the things I truly want.

I have few wants. I own one pair of shoes and I've worn the same five pairs of jeans for quite literally 10 years. If I don't want it and I don't need it, I never buy it.

This helps to make it so that the rare times I do want something, I have no issues dropping many digits to get it.

Terrible when I have a debit card. Slightly less so when I have cash. Having cash in hand makes me think twice if I want to give it away.

I'm incredibly cheap. I'm always trying to figure out what I really need to spend my money on. This way when I want to splurge (like a crazy trip across the country and traveling to Europe) I can just do it.

I'm a complete cheapskate when it comes to anything but my pets. Only the best for my pets. I just dropped almost $200 last week on four bales of really great oat hay from California for my rabbits. It should last a few months, but still...

Meanwhile I pretty much refuse to buy any food for myself that's not significantly discounted via sale or clearance or coupon, and never buy clothes anywhere but thrift stores. Habit, after seven years of unemployment followed by an equivalent amount of retail clerk salary.

I only buy things if they're on sale. Exceptions are if I need it now and it's not on sale, like medicine. I don't buy for the sake of it being on sale either because I know what the product is worth. If it something I really want, I can wait for a lower price because there will always be a lower price and all I need to do is wait a bit. My boyfriend thinks it's funny that all our stuff is worth much more than what we actually paid for it from my bargain hunting.

Cashier: "Oh, that How To Train Your Dragon 2 book costs 185 Ringgit-"

Me: "DONE!!"

I'm pretty cautious with my spending (except the occasional splurge on books/DVDs). I love traveling so the money saved goes into my vacation fund.

Everything into savings and maybe...once a month half into savings and I'll buy myself something nice. No set schedule for that and I only do it if I'm running a positive amount that month...

Also groceries and bills.
