What are your favorite parodies? Do you prefer parodies of things you love or things you think are stupid?

Just for variety, you have to pick things other than (or in addition to) Mel Brooks movies.

(Actually, also Wizard People Dear Reader, and most of Mel Brooks' other movies, except not Spaceballs because it sucks)

I greatly prefer parodies of things I love. I don't like to spend my time with a hate boner.

I love love parodies for the things I like.
Men in Tights - a Robin Hood parody. Then Zorro: The Gay Blade. I also like homage episodes on shows. SPN, Psych and most TV shows have them.

In all honesty, my favorite parody is probably YGOTAS, which (of course) your subject line made me think of even before I read the comment XD

I don't prefer parodies, but I really, really like them. There are some others I really enjoy, like Potter Puppet Pals.
