Did you actually read the portion in the white background text? Someone on tumblr is specifically blaming fandom for not holding Tyrion responsible because he "stood by and let his wife get gang-raped by a barrack of guards".

tbf, all that shows is one particular person demonizing Tyrion for not single-handedly fighting off a barracks of guards, his father, and the entire power structure controlling his life. It does not show all the SJWs in the fandom demonizing Tyrion.

What I'm saying is it's much easier to generalize about the philosophies a group of people who are famously intolerant of deviation from said philosophies.

It's pretty true.

Whenever someone says anything about GoT, it always comes back to how Tyrion's sexist because he uses whores, not taking into account the setting, or that he was cruel to Shae (when the softness between them didn't really happen in the source material) and this and that, or whatever else.

It seems to come up a lot and I'm not even particularly into the fandom.
