*raises hand* So what if a person has a CR subscription and watches the streams on the site, but also downloads the fansubs because that particular show has very little chance of being licensed in the US? I watched all of Chihayafuru on CR and still downloaded the fansubs because there's no guarantee the streams will exist forever. If the show gets an official release I'll happily get rid of my fansubs but until then, I like having a guarantee that one of my favorite shows will not one day disappear from the net and I'll have no way of seeing it again.

I do that with Hoozuki no Reitetsu since its too /jp/ and there's no way it will get dubbed to USA.

I dunno about a dub, but Sentai already licensed Hozuki for US release a while back. I'm looking forward to buying it myself.

Sorta right there with you, anon. I downloaded all of Giant Killing on fansub even though I watched it on Crunchy and I'm glad I did, because Crunchyroll removed it and if I didn't have my fansubs I'd be SOL (because it's rare for sports anime to get licensed in the US and even rarer if said anime stars adults rather than teenagers, especially when none of the cast is particularly bishounen).
