I've been craving a sea of despair/depression fic since...Monday. That's kind of shitty, so I'm sure it's unpopular, too.

Do you mean you're craving a sea of fic that is depression/despair related?

Or is "sea of despair" a category of fiction because I kind of like the way that sounds. Of course I am picturing a literal sea. Full of despair.

Fic with thise themes. Wasn't there a swamp of sadness or something in The Never-ending Story, though? I think so, and I think I'd like to see a bunch of characters figuratively dropped right in the middle of it.

Sometimes when I'm angry/depressed I crave dark/death fic, so your not alone in wanting bleak fic.
