I can only speak for myself but what makes me want to spit nails about this show being popular is how many sci-fi hating normals in my life keep telling me how much I would love it because "the jokes are about Star Trek" or whatever, but the jokes aren't really "about Star Trek" nor are the really jokes. The characters liking Star Trek (or whatever) IS the joke. Haha, nerds like nerd stuff, hilarious.
