Got kicked in the head by a horse when I was twelve. The people running the horse camp I went to had a new mare moved in for boarding during the week, and she was put into the gelding pasture at first, but after she attacked all of them, they (for reasons I've never been able to fathom) put her in with the mares and foals. That night she attacked one of the foals and drove her into the fence, causing her to need stitches. The next day, they sent me to get the foal's mom out of the pasture. As I was leading her out, the new horse took another run at the foal, and the mother pinned her ears and snapped at her. Last thing I saw was the new mare turning around and starting to buck. Next thing I knew, I was being pulled to my feet by the counselors, who led me into the house to clean me up. I later heard them telling my mom that of course I wasn't knocked out 'cause my eyes were open.

Fortunately, there was no serious damage, but man, looking back on it, we really should have sued the fuck out of those morons.

You really, really should have sued them. That's some serious negligence right there. Glad you're alright and didn't have any serious repurcussions from it!
