What?? People think Piper/Alex is romantic and heathy? WTH. I mean, fine, romantic, I can see, in certain cases. Romance can be fucked-up. But they are so not healthy. Lord.

Same folks that defend 50 Shades of Grey as "healthy", I imagine...

I'm seriously frightened for some people's relationship mental health...

People defend 50 Shades as HEALTHY? Wtf kind of horrifyingly fucked up relationships are they living with that they think THAT is healthy?

DA

Yep, they do. Hell, it even happened on this comm recently.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-19 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
Yep.

I mean, like if you wanna like it, but at least understand what you're liking...

I often see people romanticizing Alex's actions with regards to Piper. Ergo, excusing Alex's actions and selling her as a 'good' girlfriend.
Then again, it could just be my corner of fandom.

I maybe could have understood that post-Season 1. I definitely thought Piper was selfish and callous in regards to Alex's feelings, at least, but Alex certainly wasn't perfect. But after Season 2? Uh, no. TBH, I think they're both horrible to each other...and perhaps deserve each other.

They both do kind of deserve each other...
