What mundane things have you seen celebrities doing in RL?

Once saw Andrew Lloyd-Weber eating a baked potato in a michelin starred restaurant.

...that sounds as far from "mundane" as you can get...

The man was eating a baked potato, not regaling the place with anecdotes from his career.

The michelin starred restaurant part was even made more mundane by the fact that I was there for a work thing, and ALW actually requested baked potato as an off-menu meal.

I saw Donald Sutherland picking up a smart phone, and then sitting on a bench in the mall. So exciting! :p

I saw Sara Gilbert shopping at Whole Foods.

Saw Misha Collins hailing a cab once. He's kind of a celebrity.

Or at least trying hard to be one.

Robin Williams' kid used to play in the same youth soccer league with my brother (when they were, like, 5 or 6, so mid-90s; I think his kid was a year older than my brother, so they didn't play each other) so he'd be at the games every weekend, just standing on the sidelines watching the games at the scrubby-ass little park where they played. no one really bothered him or anything, you'd just look over and oh hey there's Robin Williams.

I saw Jeff Corwin holding some animals once.

...it's mundane for him because he does that all the time.

I once saw Darrell from Storage Wars eating at a restaurant on Catalina Island. The chef brought out a complimentary appetizer for him and the lady he was with, but a little while later I saw Darrell pull a waiter aside and politely ask him to take the appetizer away, because it apparently was not tasty. He asked the waiter not to make it obvious, because he didn't want to hurt the chef's feelings.

That was really nice of him.

I saw Michael Stipes hanging out in a bar once.

I don't have any but I have some second hand ones, namely

-George Strait went to the Best Buy my brother worked at for tech support
-Bill Murray passed my mom a joint once (mundane for the 80s.)
- A friend of mine ran into Shelley Duvall at a gas station. She apparently tried to sell my friend some handmade hairties.
