But...she's actually making a different expression in each photo you posted. Just because her face is essentially "posed" the same, her head is tilted differently, she has a different look in her eyes, etc. Different expressions don't have to be overly dramatic to work.

Same here. I was impressed with how many pictures OP got with what looked like the exact same expression to me.

True, one's expression doesn't have to be dramatically different in order to express emotion, but those pics aren't significantly different. They lack even the minute changes of micro-expression that shows a range of emotions.

Emma Thompson can do this. Ian McKellan can do this. Robert DeNiro can do this. But that actress in that secret? She is Keanu Reeves: beautiful to look at, but rather wooden.
