There's an obscure videogame called Folklore, where the bartender looks fucking exactly like Zhao from A:tLA. So obviously, after getting smacked by Fish Godzilla, he washes up on the shores of Doolin like 10 or 15 years before the game, because clearly the ocean in the Spirit World should be like three stops down from the Undersea Kingdom in the Faerie Realm, either has amnesia or fakes having amnesia once he realizes he's in an entirely different universe, gets roped into an existing family, starts tending bar and de facto adopts a kid after her parents died because she's essentially his niece already.

Also, one summer I spent an extremely boring internship filing and working out in excruciating detail how Wikus Van de Merwe from District Nine and Murdock from the A-Team movie could be the same person.
