DA "Tiresome" is easily solved, though. Wanky threads are exploding all over the internet even as I type. I don't find them tiresome because I don't bother looking for them or reading them. Those who find them interesting can enjoy them, and their enjoyment doesn't affect me one iota.

Sure. You could also walk up to everyone in a restaurant who's eating food you dislike to tell them it's gross. But since their enjoyment of food you dislike doesn't affect you in any way, you end up looking like a wanker. Much in the same way that going around telling people that stuff they enjoy is tiresome and that you don't enjoy it even when it's no skin off your nose that other people are enjoying things you don't like makes you look like a bit of a wanker.

It all boils down to the question of why you think it's so important to make sure everyone knows you disapprove of a thing when it doesn't have to concern you at all.
