Why?

Because if it's just "these villains rock, I want them to win!" or a story-telling reason (wanting them to win so that they are around for a few seasons while the series protagonists fight to reclaim the world), then I can see your point. Hell, if you just want them to win because they're hot, then more power to you.

If you want them to win because you actually support their anarchist philosophy, though...I got nothing, for you, beyond the fact I really hope this isn't the case.

True anarchy is nearly impossible to achieve because chaos, disorder, and anarchy are what structure, order, and hierarchy came from in the first place.

Zaheer doesn't seem to realize that even before the Avatar or the closing of the spirit portals, there was still an element of order for humans. They had cities with governance and hierarchies to them. Meanwhile, from the looks of it, even the spirits had some element of leadership to them - i.e. that Aye-aye spirit giving directions and speaking on behalf of the other spirits at the oasis/pond/whatever. Closing the portals didn't create order, it just expanded the order that was already there.

I want them to win, because I love watching them. They're cool, what we've seen of their chemistry has been great, and every fight they're in belongs on a "best of" list. I also want to know more about all of them. This is, arguably, the best season of the entire Avatar franchise, and these four are a big reason why.

And after 13 years of excruciating boredom, isolation, and physical restraint, well, I think they deserve to have their dedication to their cause pay off in some way.

When I say win, I think I mean "win...within reason." Win this season. I want a "downer ending" for this season. Well, downer for everyone else who hates the Red Lotus.

Because losing could mean Zaheer and his friends winding up dead, winding up in the Fog of Lost Souls, winding up in prison for the rest of their lives...and good god, I could not stand that!

Oh I'm totally with you there. I want a season ending like season 2… where the last words are "Ba Sing Se… has fallen."

The villains are so great this season and I really don't want to see their story wrapped up so quickly.
