I think it was the "squick sex" part and the "I like het, I ship het, and unlike most of you it really is about love" parts

Things we can probably infer: gay sex is squicky (?) and is usually not about love, while all het is

Yeah, THAT was uncalled for. But I dunno, the vibe I got was "I ship what I ship based on love, unlike people who think it's about love simply because of what the participants have between their legs". For me to infer "het is pure and yaoi is sick" s/he would've had to say something like "I ship het because het makes sense more than yaoi because men falling for women is more likely than them falling for each other" or something equally naive.

I guess I can see where people would get that from. To me it was just someone venting their frustrations over hypocritical brats.

...of course, I would have been more likely to jump on the FUCK YOU STUPID BITCH bandwagon if the pairing orientations were reversed, which says a lot about how I feel about yaoi fandom as a whole 50% of the time.
