(Anonymous) 2007-12-09 02:05 am (UTC)(link)If you had stuck to that, I would have yawned and gone on my merry way. But, unfortunately, as you say, the wording was off in so many ways.
1) It was in the present tense" "Surely I'm not the only one tired of hearing..."
2) It did that big ol' generalizing thing: "yaoi fanbrats". That term bugs me cause I never know if I should be insulted or not. Phooey.
3) And the inclusion of the word love. That just confused me.
But if your beef is truly with stuff that happened in the past, and you were just getting it off your chest, then I hope this helps you. Truly. It must suck to carry that much hate around.
On the plus side, it looks like most people here acknowledge that fandom (for the most part) has grown up, and that gives me more hope than anything.
