...I would LOVE to read such an AU. The mythology in the SMT games kills me. I ran off to find a copy of Rig Veda after playing Digital Devil Saga (With no luck T_T).

Same with P3. Come on, there's so much to work out with! Starting with Orphism and then with Castor and Polydeuces, there's a lot of resurrection themes, Magic (Isis) and Alchemy (Trismegistus). Atlus really does their homework!

There are good fans in P3 fandom, trust me. It's just half of it that is batshit insane. *sigh*

I felt the same way with DDS! I had to settle for Clamp's version though, Actually after playing Devil Summoner, I wanted to run off and read some Japanese legends...

It's rather sad that just because of the 'Emo' elements that the game got so much attention--but really, aren't all the SMT games dark anyway? *cough-hack-Nocturne-and-Digital-Devil-Saga-cough-hack*

Yeah, but they're rather few in number--the majority however REALLY don't know what they're talking about--I can't recount how many claimed to be 'otakus' of the game--then go wide-eyed at the fact it's a spin-off of another series--or that there ARE other Personas...man do I agree with poster right now...
