I definitely read pottersues during its heyday. I never took my lulz at Sues back to the OP though, I was just a lurker.

I read pottersues too and I don't regret it because I agreed with her attitude that Mary Sues are cute rather than looking at them as a plague that must be eradicated.

I kind of miss PS. I won't pretend like I didn't think some of them were ridiculous, but it was more "What happened to canon".

I felt that way about Godawful Fan Fiction (before it became a trollfest - I hate what it became after the trolls/cynical people took over). Yes, some people went out of their way to bash any OC that walked, but mostly it was people who just wanted good, quality fanfiction. I could get behind that.

Surprisingly, yes. I think the person who runs it has changed a couple of times since its inception, though.
