I think rich is having luxuries without having to sacrifice other things, and not having to worry about money. I mean, someone middle class could regularly travel abroad, have a big house, have someone clean their house, have a pool, have a membership at the local country club - assuming they have to budget for it, and pick and choose where to put their money. But if you have a big house, a pool, regular Caribbean cruise vacations, a vacation house, and "worrying about money" only means being reasonable about your next yacht purchase, you're probably rich.

I suppose the gut reaction is calling people who seem to have more than you "rich", though. But if that's the case, almost everyone I meet is rich lol

This reminds me of the end of Two Weeks Notice, with George announcing that he's now poor. "When I say 'poor,' I mean we may have to share a helicopter with another family."

Hahahah! It's true, though. Ever notice the "broke" celebrities who are suffering financially? They're so broke, but they still live in giant houses, take expensive vacations, and shop at high-end outlets.

I agree with this definition. I know plenty of people who have nice things but are far from rich, they simply know how to budget and are willing to save up over time for things they really want, like a video game console.
