The way fans treated Sarah fucking disgusted me. Especially considering she was a female child. The only reason Clem gets as much love as she does is because Lee (aka the player) of the first season had to protect her at all costs and she was portrayed as cute and innocent, but then turned around to be a big battle loli that seems to act more in charge than the actual adults.

I was heavily convinced Sarah was on the autism spectrum, but I don't think that was ever confirmed, but at the very least she is absolutely disabled in some way. I saw a grotesque amount of vitriol thrown at Sarah from male fans especially, and the glee they expressed at her death was so screwed up.

I also agree that they wasted a lot of potential throwing her away like that. But I hate the way this game treats characters and their deaths, so.

Bull. The reason we like clem is that she's never a liability. Even when she's fucking terrified she may not be helpful but she never actively, voluntarily makes your situation worse.
