I fucking hate autumn. If there's any place in the world that skips right from summer to winter, I want to move there.

autumn is objectively the best season

How come?

The falling leaves are annoying. Raking them, having to walk around them or through them on them until they grind to leafy powder that gets in my shoes. And I have a low body temperature, so while everyone else is basking in that crisp fall air, I'm either freezing my ass off or looking weird in my heavy coat and layers, and I can't wear those inside. In winter the temperature is actually less of a problem because that's when people start turning the heat on.

I can relate to that! Or in some cases, when the AC goes off. I have a low body temperature as well, so part of me likes that in the winter, everyone's collectively cold. OTOH, at work and holiday parties you often have to decide between looking professional/festive and comfort. Damn clothing industry.

Do you live in Florida? It was over a hundred fucking degrees today. I hate this shit. It will be 90 degrees in goddamn October. I wish we had fall but winter is a two week long dream and fall is a figment of the imagination.

I live in Southwest Ohio, in a river valley. We get some seriously awful summers and winter has been non-existent for most of the past 10 years.

I feel you, man. The heat is hard to take.

From the southeast Ohio river valley, I feel you. It's death right now.

In Arizona, we don't have traditional autumn because there are no deciduous trees. Our autumn and winter kind of blend into each other and are pleasant without getting too cold. October is best month. The rest of the year sucks ass it's so hot.

I always get depressed in the autumn. I can see some nice things about it (pretty leaves, cooler weather, Halloween), but it gets annoying to hear that it's the Best. Season. Ever. all the time and have everyone asking me how much I can't wait until fall in July. I just want to enjoy the rest of the summer!

My favorite season is spring, btw.

I have horrible, horrible autumn allergies (actual allergies, not just hayfever). Worst season ever.
