One of the prevailing sentiments across social media was this idea that people who did care about RW's death and people who didn't care about RW's death should be treated with the same respect and care. Sorry, no. That you were NOT affected by something? That gets nothing. That doesn't get support and well-wishes and internet hugs, because you're not NOT okay. You're fine. That you might be irritated by everyone caring about the death of someone you don't give a fig about--? Keep it to yourself. Keep your stupid I-don't-care opinion to yourself, because it DOES NOT MATTER. Not caring should mean not sharing, not participating. That all of these people who don't care feel it's important to tell everyone that they don't.. It is NOTHING but douche-y. Nothing. Douche-y and self-involved.
