Re: So where´s the weirdest place you have read adult fanfic?

Not fanfic online but I remember reading my first bodice ripper at a family gathering. My father and mother and grandmother all talking about grown up things and little 11 year old me on the opposite couch, shocked, scandalized and kind of turned on and peering over the top of the book because I was very sure someone would figure out what was going on in front of them.

They never did. Thank God.

I read my first erotic novel in school, at registration class in the morning. I was 12. It took me a week of hoping no one would look over my shoulder.

I never even knew erotic novels existed at that point. I was entranced until the ending, and then I was disappointed. I immediately saw how all other erotic novels would follow the same plot (ie they get together at the end, yawn, even worse than detective novels) and never read one again until I discovered fanfic. Good smutty fanfic is incredibly more fun than mainstream bodice rippers.
