Re: Question:

She's a female game designer who designed a game called "Depression Quest" and has been recently outed for cheating on her boyfriend with five guys, one of which was married and a couple being Kotaku reporters who had written positive things about her game. Also, by her own reasoning, raped her boyfriend. Possibly sexually assaulted someone else. Apparently seriously transphobic.

Her boyfriends account with chat logs- http://thezoepost.wordpress.com/

The drama is mostly coming from how it shows how dogshit gaming journalism has become. I saw someone put it as "the observers has become too close to the thing they're reporting". And other things Zoe done, like screwing over a gaming charity (Fine Young Capitalists http://www.thefineyoungcapitalists.com/Voting)that helps female game designers. http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/814/183/c06.png

Don't used 'outed' to mean 'allegedly this woman had sex with people she wanted to'.

Fine, fine, alright, "accused".

Nope, outed is fine in that context, since it literally means disclosed/revealed. Just because it has sexuality/"coming out" connotations doesn't mean that's the only way to use it.

Thank you. Words and expressions often have other meanings/connotations, and I wish people wouldn't just focus on one meaning.
