Kate from the BBC's Robin Hood. For reasons that were never explained, Maid Marian was written out of the show at the end of season two and replaced by the entirely original Kate. It was a complete disaster, and as overused as the term Mary Sue is, Kate 100% fits the term.

She was adored by everyone despite being a rather nasty individual, made a lot of stupid mistakes which were treated as "badass" or "spunky" instead of mistakes, fluctuated between sword-fighting men twice her size and getting kidnapped every episode (with the other characters dropping everything to save her), got an insane amount of shilling ("she's perfect/a treasure/compassionate and beautiful" - all actual quotes), and basically forced her way into every plot whether it made sense for her to be there or not.
likeadeuce: Michelle Dockery in a tiger hat (downton)

Oh, man, I thought it was Anna from Downton Abbey with a sword (same actress) and was like OMG BUT THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.

Alas

Yeah, it is the same actress. Here's the funny thing: Joanne Froggat got the Downton Abbey gig immediately after Robin Hood - and her resume mysteriously leaves out her stint as Kate.

I never got around to the most recent Christmas episode of DA so I was like 'combat Anna! Rad!' But alas.
