I prefer everyone to be interesting, but that seems to be too much to ask. :(

I thought Gamora keeping her hatred to herself for years and years seemed a bit of a long shot too, but it was one of those things I just shrugged and went with because the film did a lot of more ridiculous things than that. TBH I feel like maybe she hasn't always hated him? Maybe it was a gradual thing where she wasn't fond of him, but as the years went by her mistrust and disgust with him grew and grew. Not sure what we were supposed to take away from that.

About Nebula, I just don't think she was in the film enough for her motivations to be believable; they should've included more backstory. I thought Karen was good in the role, but they didn't give her enough to do. (There was a bit more of Nebula and Nebula/Gamora in the prequel comic, but...you shouldn't have to read that to feel like you know the characters.)

Personally, the Loki/Thor relationship is one of my favorite things about the MCU, so I was hoping for more of that and the film didn't deliver. Maybe for Guardians 2. We can only hope.

As much as I loved this film, and I did love it quite a bit, the pacing wasn't great. There were boring bits, and most everything that didn't include the Guardians themselves just wasn't as good. Maybe Marvel will learn for this and make a better movie next time.
