If you hate yearly releases of video games like Call of Duty, but ignore the constant rehashes from nintendo, I judge you.

Probably not here, because I can't recall seeing any hardcore Nintendo fanboys about, but there was one on my flist who acted like I'd walked over and kicked his dog.

Sad thing is I used to be a Nintendo fangirl, and I kind of understand his reaction. To a lot of people, criticism of Nintendo = personal attack on your childhood.

Ha. I'm actually tired of the yearly Call of Duty release (I like the series alright though I refuse to spend another cent on it) but it'd be cool if Nintendo would actually stop remaking Link to the Past with every new Zelda game.

FUCKING THIS. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who sees through Nintendo's bullshit. Everyone else praises them so much when all they're doing is beating a nearly-dead horse.

I don't hate CoD releases because at least this year they're trying something wildly different from previous years. I actually find it interesting.

Although, I do despise the yearly EA sports games... I honestly can't see what the different is between '15 and '14 games.

And Nintendo really depends on which game it is. Mario Party or Mario Kart? Yeah, sure. But Zelda? Eh, it's usually different enough in story/characters to get a pass for me. But it pisses me off when Nintendo just straight up ports a game for another system and wants full price for it, like Windwaker HD.
