I think I like the side characters better than the main characters in Stargate SG-1. Can Jacob/Selmek just be a perm character because I love them even though they are both kind of assholes. Oh, and Maybourne. Ugh. He's so awful I love him.

Also, the show keeps killing people I like. :( Martouf, Rothman... I'm sure it'll kill other side characters I like soon.

I think reading fic has softened the blow of a few future deaths, but I'm trying to forget.

Omg I think I just spoiled myself for why you are being so smug AND I AM MAD. They need to stop killing my favorite characters.

Yes, I love him too. I kind of mildly love everyone... it's weird not to have a favorite "main character," though.

I kinda like ot4 best. Like, any time the teams together and kicking butt i like them best as a single gestalt organism

(I also really love Doc Frasier and madly ship her with Daniel?? And i wanted BOTH Daniel AND Jonas and i like broshipped them severely....)

I don't know who Jonas is yet. Is it Ben Browder? I like him but I'm not to his character yet.

I love Janet but I ship her with Sam only.

Jonas was brought in season 6 to be their softsciences guy when the guy who played Daniel flounced about how he could tooootally be doing better things, later losers! (Then came crawling back a year later lol)

MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST NOT KILLED ROTHMAN AND HE COULD HAVE TAKEN DANIEL'S PLACE AGAIN?!? Ugh I was so sad when he died.

Jonas is the Corin Nemec character. Extraterrestrial academic, joined the team when Daniel was non-corporeal for a year.

Cam is the Ben Browder character, who is also great.

Oh lol Corin Nemec is on this show. My fiancé is in love with him. He's gonna flip his shit. Yeah. I though Daniel was supposed to "ascend" by now, but is guess that is at the end of season 5? Daniel is depressing and serious but so adorkable sometimes. I don't know what to think about him.

Janet/Sam is the only SG-1 ship I care about, except maybe Sam/Whatever Makes Her Happy

Haha. Any character/whatever makes them happy is the best ship, tbh, because everyone is pretty depressing. Sam is probably the least depressing character?

Oh, Maybourne. I was so sad when I found out there's hardly any Jack/Maybourne.

I love Jonas though. I wish they'd kept him on after Daniel returned.

Why is there no Jack/Maybourne? They had an adventure together. Maybourne was the Hutch to Jack's Starsky. :( There was so much antagonistic UST.

I truly don't know. The only thing I can think is that you just didn't see a lot of slash that wasn't Jack/Daniel. There are so few fics that pair them with other men. :(

And I thought he would be good in charge of Atlantis (if Weir couldn't be).

I liked most of Sam's love interests except that one guy, Jonas, her megalomaniacal ex (on a side note: why did they reuse that name?).

I like Davis too. He just kind of popped up and keeps popping up in meetings and looking cute and being sane.

Also, Sam hasn't really had any love interests yet... except Jack which is going no where thank god. There was the descended dude who was just kind of creepy. OH WAIT LOL I forgot about the ones I liked: the Tollan dude (what is his name???) and Martouf :(. I like that Tollan dude a lot, actually. He's totally cute.

And he's Elizabeth Weir's boyfriend Simon in SGA. They did a lot of weird re-using of actors in those shows.
