I'm sick of the Original Trilogy when it comes to Star Wars. Not to spite anyone, but because I'm so sick of seeing Luke, Han, Leia, Vader, et al everywhere. And especially the near-holy reverence a lot of the OT fans give it. (Also, I desperately want Clone Wars/Rebels/TOR-related merch, but everyone shits out OT merch because it makes the bucks, which I understand, but hhhhhh)

And tbh, if I wasn't won over by most of the characters already, I wouldn't even be giving 'Star Wars Rebels' a chance. (Also, I'm ambivalent to Ezra and Sabine because I'm not big on teenage characters, but I'll give them the season to see if they grow on me, in fairness)

And on a non-Star Wars note, the mere thought of Human!AUs with Rocket Raccoon/Groot rustles my jimmies in a not-so-good way. XP

I feel your pain. Although I like the OT, I am a prequel fan at heart. So it's not just that people ignore it, but the active, frothing hatred is…depressing.

Here's the thing: A person doesn't have to like every aspect of a megalith franchise to be a fan, but when I see OT stans harassing those who like the Prequels/TCW/et al, then I die a little on the inside. D;

(And the sad thing is I still do love 'Return of the Jedi' to bits, but I can't watch the OT anymore without having a sour taste in my mouth. Ughhh.)
