Yeah the old one would post controversial quotes from bygone feminist icons with no context and then get upset when people didn't outright agree with it. "I was just trying to foster discussion!"

Oh! I remember those threads! I liked how they'd go completely offtopic and the fun people had in doing so. They weren't nearly as hostile either iirc.

Offtopic, but how are? I hope you're doing okay. IIRC, you had a homeless and asked for help fir them, are they okay? I may have missed the update about them.

Oh, yes, my friend who needed money. They're still hanging on; they didn't get all the money they needed, but even the amount they got was a big help.
