Definitely nothing wrong with that. I think (and it seems like many people here agree) it all depends on whether you can find someone who you mesh with and you can communicate easily with. I only have two friends I will ask to beta for me and that's because I know they get how the process is for me and we've worked out ahead of time what I need them to look for/check...

Basically it's all about communication and sometimes, when that doesn't work, you can be better off on your own.
